The Bible references sin quite a bit. What is it?
First of all, sin is a choice that you and I make. Sin occurs when we
choose to turn away from God's plan and purpose for our life.
Following Jesus is also a choice you and I can make. When we follow Jesus,
God's Spirit empowers us to resist the entanglements of sinful behavior and
choose God's way of righteousness.
Turning ever so slightly in God's direction is the first step. You can
choose to turn toward Him right now! Tell Him that you are available to
meet Him today. He will run and greet you with His loving embrace. God
desires more than anything to have an intimate relationship with you.
"Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily
entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us."
